♫~~Getting to know allllll abouuuuut you~~~♫

-What was your major at MCAD? I'm an illustration major because I'm too lazy to be a comic artist and too terrified to be an animator.

-What's your favorite media(s)? Watercolor, india ink, digital (photoshop), and acrylic. Oh, and also copic markers!

-What are your favorite things to draw/themes in your artwork? I enjoy drawing fantastic monsters, fantastic people, and really ridiculous derpy comics.

-What kinds of things would you like to make/learn about now that you have FREE TIME? (WOW, what is that??) I want to spend more time on my sculpting and casting since I didn't have much time for that over the year.

-What'cha up to this summer? I am fixing a broken costume so I can debut it at the CONvergence masquerade! I am also trying to finish a comic page a week, but we'll see about that.

-If you could be any kind of sea creature, what would you be and why? I am obviously a sea slug. Gosh. I don't know why you'd have to ask.

-Two random facts about yourself! I like rolling around the floor of the comic studio, and my favorite type of pie is strawberry rhubarb.

-What was your major at MCAD?
Comics!

-What's your favorite media(s)?
... Hmmmm. I like digital a lot but also pen & ink naturally! I'm fond of watercolour but as it takes me a lot longer to make something decent out of it, I don't use it so often.

-What are your favorite things to draw/themes in your artwork?
For themes, I like optimistic things like the idea that love can conquer all. ... though you wouldn't know it to look at my most recent comics.

-What kinds of things would you like to make/learn about now that you have FREE TIME? (WOW, what is that??)
When I get some of that free time I may get back to this. Haha, no, but seriously, I want to write a novel and draw comics. \o/

-What'cha up to this summer?
Looking for a better day job that doesn't drain my energy so much so I can still make artwork.

-If you could be any kind of sea creature, what would you be and why?
OCTOPUS, because.
...Alternatively, a shark. They are nature's perfect predator. Their skin is made of tiny teeth.
My soul animal is probably a crab though.

-Two random facts about yourself!
I am a father of three.
I am a horrible liar.

*sings* Getting to like you, getting to hope you like me

I'll play too! :)

-What was your major at MCAD?
Post-bacc, with a concentration on illustration

-What's your favorite media(s)?
I used to love pastel, but don't really anymore. Now I love ink and watercolor, digital, and sometimes acrylic

-What are your favorite things to draw/themes in your artwork?
I want to illustrate books and other media for children, especially girls. Most of my work has at least one girl in it! I draw lots of animals, especially whales, dolphins, fish, and other sea creatures, as well as insects, cats and dogs. I also use some science fiction and fantasy elements in my work.

-What kinds of things would you like to make/learn about now that you have FREE TIME? (WOW, what is that??)
Children's books! I also want to work more in comics, and I want to learn more about pattern-making and product design

-What'cha up to this summer?
Working, looking for more work, visiting the family, catching up on Doctor Who, and CONvergence!

-If you could be any kind of sea creature, what would you be and why?
A dolphin, because there are scientists that say that they are smart enough to be considered non-human persons. How cool is that? They're like space aliens in the ocean!

I also have a soft spot for humpback whales because they're so weird-looking and they can sing.

(And starfish!!!)

-Two random facts about yourself!
My first language was Ukrainian. I don't remember it anymore, except for a word or phrase here or there.
I love spinach but hate peppers.

-What was your major at MCAD? Post-Bach Illustration.
-What's your favorite media(s)? Watercolor and whatever else I can get working for me that week.
-What are your favorite things to draw/themes in your artwork? For sketches, everything. For things that get finished, children's book artwork.
-What kinds of things would you like to make/learn about now that you have FREE TIME? (WOW, what is that??) Mostly, get into a style/method that works for me enough that I can feel confident in offering commissions. If I can undig myself from my nephew and niecelet babysitting.
-What'cha up to this summer? Babysitting! Painting rocks. Housework. Getting a career started.
-If you could be any kind of sea creature, what would you be and why? Dolphins. Because they're awesome.
-Two random facts about yourself! I have met Jim Davis in person. He and the studio is a lot cooler than the Garfield comic may lead you to believe.
I am not, in fact, going to become a teacher, despite all my parents' friends suggesting that when I say I'm still working on ~getting a job~.
